SACME is a the control center that performs the coordination, supervision and operation of the high voltage power grid's generation, transmission and subtransmission systems of Buenos Aires and it's metropolitan area (GBA) serving a population of more than 13 million people over an nearly 8000 km2 area.
Our role in the Wholesale Electricity Market
SACME manages through Cammesa (Compañía Administradora del Mercado Mayorista Eléctrico, Wholesale Electricity Market Administrative Company) Edenor and Edesur's energy exchanges with the SADI (Sistema Argentino de Interconexión, Argentine Interconnected System).
